Integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles is increasingly vital for the alternative assets industry. The Firm will continue to promulgate RPI policy at 3 levels, namely GP/sponsor, fund vehicle and asset levels.

Putting a value on an environmental-, social-, or governance-related risk or return can be difficult. Carbon emissions are simple enough to quantify and disclose, as are the value losses from stranded or obsolete assets. TGIM has developed metrics and methodology to quantify reliable the ESG effects of the portfolio and this is key element in our investment decision making process.
